Dr. Nicky Lankerani

Dr. Lankerani is dually board-certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Adult Psychiatry. She completed her residency in general psychiatry at the University of Maryland / Sheppard Pratt Health System, and her fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, where she served as chief resident.

Dr. Lankerani has extensive experience in treating mood and anxiety disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, autism spectrum disorders, and in the diagnosis and early intervention for preschool-aged children. She has been honored as a “Favorite Doc” by readers of Washington Parent Magazine, and has been in clinical practice at The Family Center since 2009.
