The Experience to Make a Difference

At The Family Center, our success largely stems from the experience of our staff and our founder, Dr. Gail Walter, who created The Family Center in 1984. A licensed clinical psychologist, Dr. Walter received her Ph.D. from the University of Maryland in 1976. Since that time, she has focused her professional skills on helping the families of Howard County live more fulfilling lives. Dr. Walter currently supervises a staff of professionals, all of whom have been thoroughly trained and licensed to provide the highest quality of service to The Family Center clients.
